Lombardstown House

The ruined remains of Lombardstown House which has medieval origins although the main house was probably built in the 1740s.The Lombards came to this estate in the 1620s and soon after one of them served as Mayor of Cork City.

 

P68, Monea House, College Road, Ardmore

Originally named Ardmore House, then Monea House, became an estate house for the Bagge family. In the 1850s Simon Bagge was leasing this house from the Ecclesistical Commissioners of Ireland so this may have originally been a rectory.
 

Griffith, Longfield House

Longfield House, Gortmore, Co. Westmeath. Griffith Valuation 1854 Barony of Kilkenny West, Parish of Noughaval, Union of Ballymahon, Townland of Gortmore, Co. Westmeath. Tenant was Arthur H. Griffith. The Landlord was Laurence King Harman.
