Listed as house no 18 on the 1911 census, the Hallahan family lived here up to recent times. The head of the family in 1911 was John Hallahan aged 34 and his wife Hannah, and their son Patrick Joseph. John's occupation is listed as a Grocer Manager and the property is listed as a shop. The facade of the building has not changed and the form of the original shop window remains to this day, and has been sensitively incorporated into the Art Gallery, which opened in 2014
