This was once known as Satyr Restaurant, so called after a ship captained by the husband of 'Dote' Prendergast whose daughter Agnes Prendergast was the proprietor. This was also a guest house and was used as a hostel in the 1990s. Also run as a library in the early 60's when the caravans came to Ardmore.
