Quaker Meeting House was built in 1709 although the Quakers held their first meeting in Mountmellick in 1659. Nearby the Quaker Meeting House is the site of a former Quaker School and also former Presentation Sisters’ secondary school St. Mary’s College which is now Mountmellick Community School.
