Groups audience:
This was the last house on the north side of the street and the existing bungalow as built in 1933 on the site of a cottage which had been occupied by Thomas Foley. Nearby the ‘bridge below the town’ was still intact at that time, though under constant threat from the dreaded south easterly gales. It was a favourite gathering spot and the playground for the youth of the village until it was completely washed away c.1919 (see plaque on storm wall opposite).
